Two issues however are found to exist – both of which canbe countered by judicious use of technology.First the additional resource demands of laboratory studies and the attendant assessmentdemand can be offset using technology to help set, collect, mark and provide feedback.Second, the desire for students to disregard advice on how to write laboratory reports can becountered by using the learners as assessors.
