One commercial branch of Moodle supports this capability4. Thisallows automatic assessment of Quiz outcomes.Experimental Process and ResultsTo evaluate the effectiveness of ACAT gradebook assessment of outcomes versus manualassessment, an initial study was performed during the Spring 2015 semester. Four courses wereselected for both manual Moodle evaluation and automated ACAT evaluation. Two courses wereLaboratory group-based learning using CATME5 peer assessment.
