In the presentstudy we offered this class a research thesis option instead of a traditional classroom course toexplore the effectiveness of this method in terms of the pedagogical outcomes. If this approachworks then the thesis option can be utilized when enrollments are few and can be a viable optionin summer sessions.At this time, the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET) does not specifyeducational outcomes for master’s level programs, however it is expected that the students wouldsatisfy the requirements for undergraduate
