Cadets have theopportunity to attend an Advanced Individual Academic Development experience during asummer training period to see the real-world application of their discipline. These are popularbut voluntary limited summer internship programs primarily with Department of Defense (DoD)agencies. Finally, the integrative experience or capstone design courses provide cadets theforum to apply what they have learned in the program in solving a problem for a real DoD orindustry client.
