The structure ofthe class projects will include goal setting behavior for the projects and intercultural relations.Research has shown that goal setting behavior significantly enhances the participant'sperformance 17 and plays an instrumental role in improving the student’s self-efficacy andintrinsic interest in the task. In addition the course design allows for the creation of specifictasks, roles, and learning goals. Specifically, each student is assigned tasks and is part of a team-directed management structure; this structure includes the election of leaders for each sub-teamand the team at large.
