found in various classrooms across thecampus: (1) seating and room layout, (2) boards and projection and (3) computers and videocapture. In addition to the survey data, comments were solicited and compiled for continuousimprovement.A total of 75 students, faculty and staff responded to the survey. Within the three categories ofinstructional technology, three survey questions were asked to determine: (1) which technologieswere used, (2) which technologies did individuals enjoy and (3) which technologies didindividuals feel would enhance learning?There were several conclusions resulting from the data analysis including differences betweenfaculty and student preferences. Through discussions withpracticing engineers, it has become clear that for some engineers the informal oral presentationof information is a common occurrence in day to day activities.
