the antenna to vary. 2 We care about both the VSWR and the bandwidth because they tell us how our antenna will perform in the RF spectrum. VSWR is a measure of the reflected power from the antenna back to the hardware. The value is typically represented as a ratio of the max voltage in the line to the minimum voltage. Ideally, you would want a VSWR of 1, but any value below or around 2 is perfectly acceptable. When the VSWR becomes too high, on the order of 5 or so, the mismatch is too great to transmit signals over the antenna at that frequency.
