lab exercise allowed students to communicate and collaborate similar to a faceto face lab setting. The College provided necessary resources to students in need such ascomputers and lab kits. Companies provided free software to students as well during theshutdown, which made the transition from face to face to remote teaching even smoother. AtBucks, our laboratory assistant prepared a collection of tutorial videos on how to use the variousmeasuring devices that were in the laboratory, and how to conduct the experiments. These videoswere used for all modes of course delivery, including remote, online, and hybrid instruction.Students in the hybrid courses were able to view the instructional videos before coming to lab.Students in the online and

implement the plan. This disconnectoccurred because the personnel on the IT accessibility team has little to no teaching experienceand no knowledge of the practicalities of what happens in an MET course, especially one withhands-on laboratory components. A major concern of the faculty in the Penn State Behrend METprogram was based on the first line of the official EEAAP document that indicated it was alegally binding document. Faculty were hesitant to simply create a bare-bones document thatcould be misinterpreted later, or to create a plan that was not actually feasible to implement if theoccasion occurred that a visually impaired or blind person chose to major in MET on theBehrend campus. Therefore, it was almost entirely up to the MET faculty

Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering,Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical EngineeringTechnology, etc. are all degrees that either already offer disciplines or courses that study thedesign and use of automated control [5].Part of the Advanced PLC laboratory at our university, the Amatrol Process Control System, shown in Fig. 1, is used to teach programming of industrial equipment for controlling the flowrate and level of fluids [3]. It is not concerned with the theory of PID control, rather it focuses onthe programming of industrial equipment and the

engineering degree studies. Extensive surveys ofthe current practices related to senior projects, as well as of engineering teaching through seniorprojects are available in the literature [1, 2]. For their senior projects, students apply thebackground and skills accumulated through coursework in researching a problem, for whichthen a solution is investigated, designed and implemented. A significant part of the knowledgeand skills needed for the projects are straightforward learning from the actual courses taken inthe program, but often new skills are needed, specific to the project topic selected, and studentsneed to apply their learning skills in researching a new subject, or getting familiar with a newpiece of hardware or software platform
