In this setup, the piston of a single-acting cylinder pushes the part offthe conveyor belt when a pushbutton switch is pressed. When the pushbutton isreleased, the piston rod returns to the retracted end position. The students realized thisexperiment using standalone pneumatic and electropneumatic components. These surveys were completed in classand the number of surveys completed consisted of 30 to 150. (Variables were due to programgrowth).
