SurveyTakers (Respondents could mark “all that apply”)When we look at the combination of R&D, Design and Production/Manufacturing (arguably thethree areas most directly aligned with “engineering”) in Figure 3.2 we see that 81 percent(581/719) are involved in one or more of these three engineering-centric functions (with some19.6% (141/719) involved in all three).
