The pilot implementation of this model in the 2024-2025 academic year,along with subsequent assessments, will inform further refinement and ensure its effectiveness inmeeting the needs of engineering students.Background The FYS program for engineering students in Penn State has long been a fundamentalcomponent of the college’s curriculum, aimed at facilitating the transition from high school touniversity life.
