programquality in Eng Ed PhD programs originate from a different position. For example, researchers,Murzi, Shekhar, and Mc Nair cited the increasing number of Eng Ed PhD programs, as a keymotivator for their foundational scholarship on Eng Ed PhD program quality and as a reason foradditional research in this area [2]. Their work, as well as that of Lopez and Garcia [4] andBenson et al. [3], provides a strong basis for our study, having presented a document-based,comparative analysis of the formation, aims, requirements, and outcomes of existing Eng EdPhD programs.
