with solving a relevant industry problem identified by a sponsoringcompany. A member of the Industrial Engineering faculty is assigned to each team and serves asa mentor. Faculty mentors are matched to projects that align with their respective areas ofexpertise. Approximately 40-students are enrolled in the course each semester. The course instructor introduces students to their respective team assignments during the initialclass meeting and provides an overview of the course organization, expectations, and lessonslearned from previous semesters. After the initial class meeting, students are responsible for theproject's overall management, including coordinating with the sponsor's point of contact andtheir assigned mentor, determining roles and

valuable design. People play a role by engaging in projects and tasksfocused on problem-solving and value creation.2.2 Curriculum Design ComponentsThis section provides an overview of the standardized, holistic approach for integrating theentrepreneurial mindset into existing courses across the disciplines using the four curriculumdesign components [1].#1: Curriculum Design for Entrepreneurial IntegrationFrom a macro perspective, a learning experience should provide the ability to discover, evaluate,and/or exploit opportunities. When working towards developing the most valuable design(s),opportunities that create the most value should be derived from customer desirability, technologyfeasibility, and business viability. From a theoretical lens

booking system). For the Fall 2020 semester, I was the instructor for the Undergraduate Final Year Project (aka,Capstone Design), which included 323 students in their final year of undergraduate study. This isthe most crucial element of the degree program within our discipline, as it gives students anopportunity to work on an extensive piece of work within the areas of Electronic Engineering andComputer Science. The project also allows students to demonstrate their problem-solving abilitiesby being able to apply a range of skills that they have acquired throughout their degree program.Overview of Teaching and Learning Changes Implemented • Preparation (Outside of Class) - Interactive Videos: As the co-ordinator for undergraduate projects

I had the Zoom recording, I had the slides, my own writing on the board…I have to listen to the questions from Zoom, and from the students who were in the classroom. Sometimes people ask questions through the chat box, which was very hard for me to follow. – P8Several other difficulties were also identified from our interviews. Two participants hadtechnical difficulties using functions or features of Zoom or projecting to the classroom andZoom at the same time. One participant stated

of abilities required to succeed professionally in theinformation age. The top four of these skills include critical thinking, creative thinking, collaboration, and communication [1]. In a typical engineering education curriculum, criticalthinking is addressed effectively. Also, students develop their collaboration skills via project-basedcourses that have become increasingly widespread in engineering education in the last twodecades. Furthermore, communication skills are often addressed through the inclusion of atechnical communication course or by otherwise satisfying the communication component ofestablished general education requirements. Laboratory experiences and project-based coursesemphasize the development of technical communication
