undergraduates in class.User-Centered DesignUser-Centered Design (UCD) is a required course for all engineering majors taken during eitherthe second semester of the first-year or the first semester of the second-year. It introducesstudents to strategies for identifying the needs, capabilities and behaviors of a user group, anddeveloping designs that reflect the empathy gained for the user group to address their needs.
