the course had a small effect on students’ intrinsic values, and mediumeffects on students’ feeling of inclusion and expectation of success in engineering design.However, it is worth mentioning that the pre-survey was conducted during the middle of thesemester. If measured for a whole semester, the data may have shown relatively larger effectsizes on students’ engineering motivation and design self-efficacy. Longitudinal data will becollected to investigate the influence of the course on students’ attitudes toward and learning ofengineering.
