processof materials discovery, which involves the identification of new materials with specificfeatures, served as the foundation for instructing the participants on the fundamental conceptsof ML [29].Therefore, this paper serves to report the module design and a hands-on technique that wassuccessfully implemented by ACENPEE to help students of various engineering backgroundsdevelop self-efficacy in ML. The next sections describe the approach used for the workshop,the discussion of students’ perceptions of the learning experience assessed through the learner’ssatisfaction survey, as well as the concluding section.
