There are many studies comparing these two deliverymethods at varying levels1,4,5,6,8,11,12,19. Most studies conclude that web-based homework issuperior to (or at least not inferior to) traditional homework in terms of homework completionand student outcomes.Aside from studies of online homework, however, there are very few other studies investigatingthe effect of various mathematics course policies on homework completion and studentsuccess.
