5discussions not only provided insight into the individual scoring process but also enhanced overall scores.After such discussions, and careful re-evaluation of select concept maps, a general consensus wasreached. The new score(s) assigned represented a shared understanding and agreement on the gradingcriteria. At some discussions, the variations were solved through compromise and mutual understanding.The collaborative evaluation and consensus process were vital in maintaining the credibility andreliability of the grading process. It allowed for a well balanced perspective on the concept maps and theirquality, since no two individuals are the same.ResultsThe first activity for root finding methods led to interesting results in the student concept maps

discovered the hidden phenomenon on their own, but overall,83% did discover the phenomenon with help from other students. Survey comments and surveyresults indicated that in the course, students developed an increased interest in takingcomponents apart and learning how they work, which indicates an increased intrinsic motivationfor lifelong learning. While not as organized as the resources mentioned above, it is a comprehensive place to look for answers to more advanced questions. ▪ The Fusion 360 community is a great resource to turn to as well for troubleshooting and demonstrating the use of Fusion 360’s capabilities. Due √ to the curvature of the shaft, the depth of cut is greater than H/2, by a 1chordal height Y = 2 (D − D2 − W 2 ). Chordal height increases the depth of cut byapproximately 15%. The distance from the bottom of the keyseat to the bottom of the shaft is thusS = D − H/2 − Y . Because S can be measured with calipers, a keyseat drawing should show D,r, W , and S. videos followed a similar pattern.Results in this paper reveal a higher student resistance to completing online pre-class activities inthe in-person offering (Fall 2022) of flipped classrooms compared to its online offering (Fall2021 and Spring 2021). In addition, considering that the pre-class participation rate alreadystarted decreasing in Fall 2021’s online offering, the drop in pre-class participation in the in-person flipped classroom in Fall 2022 was not solely due to switching its modality from online toin-person but was also affected by the significantly more prevalent other in-person classes thatstudents were concurrently enrolled in.Figure 3.
