The majority of these interactionstypically take place in the classroom, but also happen during office hours and extracurricular ac-tivities.Office hours provide a valuable opportunity for students to ask questions, obtain help for theirspecific situation, get mentoring, and engage with course content with an expert. This activeinteraction with a faculty member can provide valuable learning for students, and previous studieshave found that office hours can improve student course performance.
