, impressions and conclusions were drawn from this partially flipped classroom trial.We are quite sure that we will continue to try and to implement the flipped classroom approachin some of our courses in the future.(1) We believe that the flipped classroom approach is a revolution in engineering education. The flipped classroom approach is a true student-centered active learning education process. In this process, students will develop strong self-learning abilities, which is the fundamental element of the lifelong learning needed to be successful in their careers.(2) The role of faculty in the flipped classroom approach must transform from teaching to facilitating or mentoring.
