teachers: The event provides an opportunity for faculty Faculty Sponsor sponsor to interact with high school teachers. Such interaction leads to exploration of possible collaborations. In the past the faculty sponsor has submitted a proposal to the National Science Foundation with participating high schools as implementation partners.  Personal gratification: Meeting students who may consider the computing field as their career choice and discussing software engineering practices with them and their teachers provides a personal gratification.
