Engineering educators have adapted similar PBL approaches such as capstone designprojects and engineering student design teams to complement the more traditional, basic-sciencebased engineering curriculum. Project-based learning (noted as PBL*) team opportunities arequalitatively different than traditional PBL efforts in one demonstrable way.
