The website helpeddisseminate information regarding the new group and its mission and planned activities. Thewebsite also provided a way to collect information from interested students. Students couldcomplete a form to submit their email addresses and some demographic information to join theemail list. experiences that mold a freshundergraduate mind into someone called a master of science or a doctor of philosophy.Everyone begins grad school with a game plan, a series of tasks to complete and goals toovercome. However, these expectations often change as rapidly as the student as a results ofnew opportunities, experiences and, sometimes, even a complete paradigm shift of goals andopinions. For instance, I came to graduate school dead set to work for only one faculty member(who I didn't end up working for), graduating in four and a half years (I haven't), and leavingwith at least five publications (I'm getting closer). The curriculum is aptly entitled “______ ____ ___ ___” because themicrocontroller acts as a mobile lab for the students. The undergraduate students are expected tomaintain the microcontroller bringing it to and from class for projects and homework, essentiallyliving everyday with their “lab.” The fully developed curriculum has been refined over the yearsby experienced faculty members.
