He received his Bachelors of Science from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and Masters of Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, both in Mechanical Engineering. He holds a DOD:SMART scholarship and works closely with the AFRL/RQHV teams at Wright-Patterson
