Implementing theStrand Model and Freshman Seminars at The Citadel represents an effort to acknowledgedifferent interests.The entire General Education curriculum begins with a Freshman Seminar and correspondingFreshman Writing course. During the student’s senior year, the General Education curriculumculminates in a Capstone project that should be in the student’s major. Between the FreshmanSeminar and Writing Courses, all six outcomes are assessed. Again in the senior year capstone,all six outcomes are assessed. Throughout the General Education curriculum, specific outcomesare assessed in certain courses for depth and reinforcement
