To ensure ethical practices,sponsors may select a field that directs the intern search to “all males” and “all females.”Ultimately,studentswhomeetthedesiredparametersareinvitedtoapply.EMIXStudentInternApplicationProcessInternapplicantsprovideapersonalstatementdiscussingcareerinterests,currentresume,recommendation letter from a professor, and employment references. Student applicantsareinformedinadvancethatsuccessfullyplacedcandidatesneedtopasssponsor‐initiateddrug and background screening.
