The results of this experiment should not come as asurprise. This experiment was conducted in the fall of 2019 and is continuing in the spring of 2020, thusgiving the authors another semester of data to consider the question. If requiring gradedhomework does not improve exam performance, it may be more effective to reallocate teachingassistants to interacting with students in small group settings rather than grading homework.References1.
