In both Lightboard and the annotated PowerPointvideos, the above aspects are facilitated by the instructor’s interaction with the students throughwritten explanations of concepts and problem-solving. This is an essential component in teachingengineering courses and hence the videos that have this interaction are more appealing to thestudents than the narrated videos which do not have explicitly written explanations. Lightboardvideos have scored slightly higher in terms of student satisfaction in comparison to annotatedPowerPoint videos as the technology is more visually appealing and the presence of theinstructor gives a lively aspect to the videos. This is also evident in survey responses elaboratedin Table 2
