In a classroom setting, the studentsinitially (for the first couple of weeks of the semester) expressed dislike of the group and circleseating arrangement or were indifferent to it. Towards the end of the semester, however, they(one cohort of 15 students with the longest exposure) had almost unanimous appreciation of it.This change in student opinions resulted from open discussions with the students about theexistence of power in the classroom and the philosophies of liberative pedagogies.
