, the ability of students to interact with eachother and with the course materials online and at a distance from the campus will becomeincreasingly important to student success. This consideration will be reflected in future researchinto implementation of OER into Construction Management Technology courses. It is felt by theauthor that the ability of OER to address these considerations, as well as the other benefits ofOER implementation, will lead to its wider use in this field and other Engineering andTechnology disciplines in the future.References[1] Shenoda, Michael. Introduction In this extended abstract we report on the strategies used in an introductory fluidmechanics course that transitioned from a fully in-person mode of delivery in Fall 2019 to ahybrid mode in Fall 2020. The course was delivered in a fully in-person mode in 2019,consisting of two weekly lectures and a recitation session by the main instructor of the course. In2020 on the other hand all lecture

with no interface to the interactive portions of the course site. The college hosted presentations from Ken Reid (Ohio Northern University) - AmericanSociety of Engineering Education (ASEE) on effective teaching in March 2019. His presentationnoted design of course management sites should model how students use various social mediaapplications and that faculty should review the structure and content of course management sitesto make it engaging. This presentation influenced the revisions to the course management sitetemplate that had been used for the previous four capstone projects. The course site was redeveloped to be the “home base” for course students by creating astructure for information, consultation and presentation that
HF propagation phenomena, get a “feel” for thebehavior of the HF band and thereby better learn and understand HF propagation.ConclusionsUsing relatively simple and low-cost apparatus, students will readily observe and thereby betterunderstand sky-wave propagation.References1.
