Cady is a Senior Program Officer and Director of the Practices for Engineering Education and Research (PEER) program of the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). PEER conducts studies, workshops, and other activities focused on equitable and inclusive engineering education writ large and related research at the precollege and higher education levels. She earned M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Cognitive and Human Factors Psychology from Kansas State University and a B.A. in
