supports academic success and cultivates a culturally responsive and sociallyconscious engineering mindset.The approach to this work in progress involves integrating Indigenous knowledge systems andpromoting cultural sensitivity while addressing societal-scale issues affecting indigenouspopulations and lands. Students engage in real-world problem-identification and problem-solutiondesign, using real-world data to facilitate learning and a growth mindset.
