emphasized the importance of incorporating hands-on activities. Suggestions includedintegrating the concepts from textbooks to practical experiments such as making ethanol inlaboratory, constructing fuel cells and solar energy models, and conducting small-scale energysimulations. Teachers also gave suggestions on some timely topics for new courses, like, prosand cons of new technologies vs traditional ones, fundamental differences in newer vs traditionalbatteries, and working principles of electric cars.A wide spectrum of issues were raised in answer to question regarding barriers at their school tocreating substantial STEM education initiatives focusing on energy, such as lack of priority onthe energy-related topics in curriculum where they find it

of our data, energy efficiencyimprovements may be the best course of action regarding decarbonization pathways withinOklahoma. We also argue that Oklahoma can gain public acceptance for this pathway byproviding transparent data, initiatives, and benefits to the public, as well as a road map of theproposed project to the whole state, particularly the county that will be affected most by energyefficiency improvements. A successful delivery method based on the obtained data is currentlybeing analyzed. In addition, introducing a more in-depth curriculum that focuses on harmfulemissions, where they come from, and who is affected should be implemented within oureducation system, this will begin a steady improvement of knowledge in the hopes of
