This paper discusses the details of this program, its impact onengineering and technology undergraduates and the outlook for the future.IntroductionWenzel (as cited by Merkel1) states in “Undergraduate Research: A Capstone LearningExperience” that CUR( the Council on Undergraduate Research) faculty and administratorshave defined undergraduate research as “an inquiry or investigation conducted by anundergraduate student that makes an original, intellectual, or creative contribution to thediscipline.”The involvement of undergraduates in research
