Once students were able to choose a team of 5-6members that best fit their internal behaviors as well as external technical skills and fields ofinterests with guidance from the instructional team, they were able to use the teamassessments and team science training to identify the team leader. This resulted inmultidisciplinary teams that were assigned to either industry sponsored or faculty mentoredprojects based on team interest.
