The acquired credits will be counted towards coursework with the internshippathway graduation option. The graduate learning objectives (GLOs) for the coursework, thesis, and report pathways of theproposed Master of Science Degree in Mechatronics are listed below. Topic Areas are outlinedlater in the article in Figure 5.Graduate Learning Objectives• Demonstrate core proficiency of the hybrid subject matter• Develop a deeper understanding of the discipline through an
graduate students interested in pursuing academicpositions for faculty teaching responsibilities. The coursework consists of two engineering educationcourses, one education elective, a teaching practicum, and a teaching portfolio seminar. The twoengineering education courses are Teaching Engineering and Curriculum Design & Assessment.Teaching Engineering reviews evidence-based teaching theory that applies to teaching practice, suchas scaffolding, feedback, and Bloom’s taxonomy, as well as challenges students to lead classdiscussions and activities. The final product of Curriculum Design & Assessment is a suite oflearning objectives, assessment tools, and class activities for a one- to two- week course topic usingbackward design methods

During the first eight weeks, the course reviewed major FE topics from chemicalengineering courses, like mass transfer, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics. The course
BusinessReview2. As they say, “The criminal is the creative artist; the detective only the critic.”-G.K.Chesterton. Deep fakes can be created in many ways. So, in order to know how to detect a deepfake, we needed to know how it is created. Our plan is to generate deep fakes and formulate asolution to fight it. Through this project, we also hope to educate the crowd and raise awareness. MethodThe project is divided into two phases: Creating deep fake and detecting it. To create deep fake, weneeded to capture 500-5000 frames/pictures of two or more people. We have used Faceswap, apython-based application used to convert video footage to images and blend pictures using deeplearning. Real Videos and Images of
EAC general criterion applicable to 2017-18 and2018-19 accreditation cycles with no change of terminology in the new general criteria. Program Educational Objectives -Program educational objectives are broad statements that describe what graduates are expected to attain within a few years of graduation. Program educational objectives are based on the needs of the program’s constituencies. Student Outcomes – Student outcomes describe what students are expected to know and be able to do by the time of graduation. These relate to the skills, knowledge, and behaviors that students acquire as they progress through the program. Proceedings of the 2020 ASEE Gulf-Southwest Annual
for graduation and to be able to adapt to the changes they will face. What can the university do to help them reduce stress and anxiety in their lives? There are manyideas as to how to help iGens become more functional. What this paper proposes are three areas thatare increasingly important in the lives of iGens and can help them prepare for the future. What canmatter in their lives are soft skills, real life experiences, and being able to unplug from technology.Other topics to consider are faculty development and proposed changes to educational pedagogy.Soft SkillsThe Association of American Colleges and Universities reported that employers think soft skills, like oral and written communication, and working with others in teams, need

SAP intomechanical, manufacturing, or industrial technology programs remains largely undocumented. This may be due to the limited number of course hours in traditional technology topics andassociated accreditation requirements. As the majority of graduates from these programs at ourinstitution ultimately go to work for manufacturing companies where ERP systems are utilized,we find value in incorporating hands-on SAP use in our courses although we do not have a clearunderstanding of student perceptions of ERP systems like SAP in particular. Moreover, we donot know if the SAP exercises we employed resulted in the intended student learning outcomes. Therefore, in this paper we provide an overview of SAP and the SAP University Alliance system

This international collaboration between the Mechanical Engineering program atWTAMU and the Aviation Institute at FHJ will strengthen the curriculum and research efforts inboth undergraduate and graduate programs at WTAMU and FHJ by providing resources foradvancing learning, understanding, discovery in the fields of
, meet the program educational objectives of an institutionof higher learning, and make informed decisions on allocating resources for program improvement.Another important purpose is to meet established standards of teaching and learning towardsachieving accreditation from organizations such as ABET1. Many undergraduate engineeringprograms2,3,4,5 around the world apply for ABET accreditation every year. ABET, which is based inthe USA, follows a rigorous process to ensure programs meet its accreditation criteria6. It specifies aset of student outcomes7 (SOs) that a program must achieve for its graduates. These outcomes cover Proceedings of the 2020 ASEE Gulf-Southwest Annual Conference
