Set:The pilot study of implementing PBL is conducted in the Production and OperationsManagement course. This is a required course in the Manufacturing ET Curriculum and aconcentration guided elective for the Mechanical ET program. The cohort size is 8 students, andthe coursework is spread over an eight-week schedule. The majority of the students are male(75%; 6 out of 8 students). Furthermore, the sample set consists of five Manufacturing ETstudents and three Mechanical ET students. Moreover, out of eight students, five are in seniorclass (62.5%) and the rest are classified as juniors (37.5%).Project Description:A complete submission of a project consists of three major components, i.e., Presentation,Participation, and a Reflective paper, as

Additionally, the Accrediting Board for Engineering and Technology also emphasizes the ability to function inmultidisciplinary teams. These educational practices have resulted in the implementation ofteam-based projects throughout engineering curriculums. Team formation, however, is not atrivial process and occasionally

ensure every student gets access toreal-world learning. The outcome of incorporating an entrepreneurial mindset (EM), bio-inspired design (Bio), andSTEAM elements in a computer aided design and modeling class was evaluated in this study.According to Lau et al 2012 [5], integration is the ability to be involved in all aspects of anenterprise and being a strong systems thinker able to make sense of complexity. People who takean interdisciplinary approach can easily identify and evaluate opportunities, explore theseopportunities, and create solutions that provide value to the stakeholders. Hence the researchquestions addressed in this study are: What are the student-perceived learning outcomes associatedwith completing an engineering project

(MIDFIELD) is used to identify common transfer paths students followwhen entering or leaving Industrial Engineering (IE) degree programs. This includes whenstudents are transferring from non-engineering programs into IE, transferring from IE to non-engineering programs, or changing degree programs to or from IE while remaining withinengineering. It was found that IE was far more commonly the destination for degree programtransfers, rather than the origin, both within engineering and in general. Fields that often led toIE included Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering as well as Business and ComputerScience. However, when students did transfer out of IE, they were much more likely to beleaving engineering entirely than changing to a

and epistemic curiosity, engineering identity, and self-efficacy will be used to gauge student progress [2]. As a result, the Industrial Engineering (IE)department adopted the ECP idea with a focus on implementing home-based hands-on activitiesfor two courses. Learning a specific idea can start at any point, but the ECP concept starts withthe presentation of an experiment to teach the students a theory. This greatly improves thestudent's ability to retain the taught theoretical topic. The ECP concept is based on the MobileStudio project designed by the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to boost students' interest andsuccess in electrical engineering [3]. Since then, many colleges, including 13 HBCUs in the USA[4], have adopted it as a

understanding userinteractions. A virtual teaching assistant can enhance interactions, increase learning efficacy, andserve as a continuous improvement tool for student training. Different endeavors to improve VRtraining have been found in the education literature. Callaghan et al. [8] conducted a study wherethey explored integrating virtual reality, IoT, and voice-driven virtual assistants into remotelaboratories for visualizing electrical phenomena, guiding students through experiments, andproviding teaching resources. The researchers delved into the viability and long-term prospectsof utilizing virtual reality and virtual assistants within this framework. In another study, Chheanget al. [9] introduced generative artificial intelligence (AI) and
