irrigation system in a Target Hunger of Houston community gardenwhich grows vegetables that are then distributed to homeless citizens of our community. As partof this collaborative project students from across UHD were encouraged to apply. We had anumber of engineering technology students that worked on the design of the system. Biologystudents from our Natural Sciences department had primary responsibility for determining thetypes of vegetables and other crops to be produced by the garden and ran genetic analysis on thecrops.
