TheCMML is a fully networked facility with a bank of high-speed workstations and PCs. Thelaboratory at Richmond Field Station consists of a water basin 68m long, 2.6m wide and 2mdeep. Physical models are tested in the basin in simulated wave environment of the properscales. To helpstudents learn such procedures, the procedure is first explained in straight text, often with aworked-out example.
