The initial focus ofdelivering lab education to satellite campuses is the junior thermal fluids lab on measurementtechniques. There are three styles of laboratory experiments throughout engineering education: hands-on,simulation, and remote (or virtual) labs.1-7 Hands-on experiments allow student to physicallymanipulate components and gather data. Simulations use computer software to emulate the resultsgathered in a real laboratory setting.
