and its popularity has been consistently ranked high by the students.The module had the following learning objectives: (i) describe common water quality parametersand their accepted ranges for drinking, (ii) test water quality for different water sources, (iii)compare/contrast drinking water and wastewater treatment, and (iv) sketch a water or wastewatertreatment plant design. To accomplish these objectives, the module was divided into two parts:water quality and water treatment. Within each part, there was a brief traditional PowerPointlecture, discussion, and at least one hands-on activity.
