Open-ended faculty comments suggested evidence of strong studentfriendships and interaction, while indicating concern that the high level of student comfort witheach other empowered students to act and communicate unprofessionally with the instructors andnot use studio time wisely. Other comments indicated, on average a perceived lower level ofstudent maturity within the learning community, raising the concern this limits their exposure tomore mature freshman, with higher level academic and project implementation skills. The fall2020 course format was fully online, with students taking the same three courses together for
