Engineeringthat was established with the goal of bringing students, alumni, industry, and the curriculumcloser together. Translated into the language of ANT, the goal is to identify and expand on pointsof intersection between the academic experience of studying to become an engineer and thereal-world experience of being an engineer. Current efforts include both curricular andco-curricular components, but have so far been largely focused on both a specific cluster ofclasses and real-time interactions between students and industry. The goal moving forward is tobuild on that foundation through the addition of a material component that can be transportedthrough the space-time of academic practice, to be used by multiple faculty during multiplesemesters

traditionalstructure where an instructor works on a problem to demonstrate to students was not used. Sincestudents had already visited the material before coming to the class, a brief review of the topicwas conducted to highlight the main points and the students were asked to provide the step-by-step solution to the examples undertaken in class. Students were also asked simple conceptualquestions relating multiple topics to prompt them to link to previous topics that they had learnt.Think-Pair-Share activities were used to discuss concept applications, real-world applicationsand other topical relevant subjects. This was to engage students in the material and to cater todifferent learning styles since some students might find it a lot easier to ask question
