This assignment was designto evaluate students’ mastery of the performance objective #1 and to evaluate the ability ofstudents to perform an independent research and write a short report. The submitted reports wereof higher than expected quality reflecting that students have a good understanding of thechallenges caused by global warming and climate change. The homework grades were in therange 90-100 with an average of 94.0. It should be noted, however, that since no beginning-of-the-semester pre-test was administered in this class, it was not possible to determine the extent ofstudents’ familiarity with these subjects prior to start
