. Even with the support of an instructional team, this process can be time-consuming and increase workload. We employed Charlie, a neural network-enabled grader, toprovide feedback on students’ writing assignments. Students only need to submit one draft,the minimum requirement for the assignment, although multiple submissions are allowed toreceive feedback from Charlie. The results indicate that Charlie’s feedback is generallyeffective, but improvements are needed in accuracy and recognizing revisions. The findingsalso reveal that students integrated feedback well, particularly in refining their career goalsand action plan sections. students and faculty started a project: ChargerCare.The students variety of specialties allowed them to create an app that could help fellow students,as well as faculty, on campus.The process of creating the app was a lengthy one, as it required involvement from severaldifferent departments on campus. The collaboration was necessary to ensure the quality of theapp, and therefore its effectiveness in addressing the concerns for members of the Universitycommunity. Most of the development time was spent like this, in careful planning to ensure thesuccess of the app from the start. Upon the conclusion of the planning and development process,the app would be released to the University community via the Apple App Store and the GooglePlay Store.3

, how can theintegration of educational technology enhance PSTs' engagement with their local communitiesand broader climate challenges?In the 12-week course, I introduced the 100-mile diet during the first two sessions to preparePSTs for their project planning. PSTs individually or in groups designed and implemented theirown versions of the diet, analyzing its impact on carbon footprints and ecosystems. Theydocumented their work over two to four weeks using technology tools like digital diaries, socialmedia vlogs, Google Suite, Excel, and multimedia presentations. The project will also provide the foundation for planned further research addinga language-processing component to an AI for high school students, which would be trained on alarge dataset of common high school math topics and language used by students.
