In addition, workers in STEM earn on average 26% more than those who are notemployed in STEM fields [2]. Despite the large benefits of a STEM career, growth of STEMemployment has plateaued, and many individuals leave those fields after joining [3]. In addition,there is a significant gap between men and women working in STEM-related fields, with menoutpacing women.
