Survey responses for eachaspect of an inclusive curriculum will be compared before and after implementation, as will theaverage of all responses, i.e., the “average level of inclusivity” used by Mills, et al. [14]. Inaddition, student and faculty responses will also be compared. The previous benchmarking doneby Mills, et al. [14] using classrooms in the U.S. and Australia will serve as a basis ofcomparison.Students’ conceptions of engineering will be assessed using a concept map as described by [17].Students in both the experimental and comparison groups of Freshman Engineering Clinic willcomplete concept maps at the beginning of their first semester and at the end of the course.
