This expansion aims to increase the number ofparticipants as well as to understand faculty’s perspectives, ultimately contributing to thedevelopment of comprehensive guidelines for mentoring meetings. These guidelines will beparticularly beneficial for new faculty members who are leading these sessions for the first time, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the mentoring process.References[1] M. At that point, the scenario librarymay be expanded and refined with the quality that users are anticipating. Users might also be askedto comment on the interface chosen to host the app and the ease in which it is navigated. In thefuture, the team is planning on incorporating a Large Language Model (LLM) that uses machinelearning to record user tendencies and present scenarios accordingly. This would ideally transformthe app into an adaptive learning tool which cooperates with the user’s background knowledge onsustainable development, and minimizes the frustration associated with learning advanced content.4.0

Two types ofdata have shaped the lessons learned: formal focus groups conducted with each class of seniordesign students, and informal feedback from well-meaning alumni. The interesting conclusion isthat the very features seniors tend to complain about – design, writing and oral presentation – arethe ones alumni report as the most valuable.1.0 IntroductionCapstone courses in American higher education are thought to date back to the 1850’s, whencolleges like

readily observe their effectiveness anecdotally inthe classroom, evaluating their effectiveness more rigorously remains a challenge. As a firststep, we attempted to discern concrete differences between the concept maps students made inthe initial (conceptual) design stage and those they produced during the final exam, looking foran increased sense of “connectedness” and “causality” from one to the other. In particular, weexamined the maps in terms of the numbers of nodes and links, any causality representedbetween nodes, and the students’ choice(s) of “top” node, among other general qualities. As expected, the “causality” demonstrated by the students certainly matured (on average)between their initial and final concept maps, but it was difficult

Administration buildings are responsible for 48% ofgreenhouse gas emissions annually and 76% of all electricity generated by U.S. power plants. [5]Passive House Construction offers a solution to these problems, but while popular in Europe, it isnot yet widespread in our country. According to Germany’s Passivhaus Institute, "A passivehouse is a building in which a comfortable interior climate can be maintained without activeheating and cooling systems. The house heats and cools itself." The forerunner to the passivehouse was the "super-insulated" houses of North America built in the 1970’s.[6] Passive Housingstarted in May 1988 by Professor Bo Adamson and physicist Dr. Wolfgang Feist during aresearch stay (in the field of building construction) at the

This is a green alternative to traditional methods of cellulose-basedmaterials production, which require the use of harsh solvents. This technology can also be fed byrecycled organic materials since bacterial cellulose can be produced by Acetobacter xylinumfrom a number of simple carbohydrate sources - which can be obtained cheaply from farm andfruit wastes.
