College of Engineering at the University of Michigan engaged in an multi-yearexperiential learning initiative to develop a framework to support students to intentionally explorelearning opportunities, engage meaningfully in experiences, reflect on what they have learned,and communicate the value of the core competencies they have developed [9]. Experientiallearning has been identified as a high-impact educational practice [12], and provides theopportunity for the student to develop and practice competencies in authentic settings [13].
