This talk will summarize the Department’s recent innovations in undergraduate educationincluding the establishment of degree programs in biotechnology and bioinformatics, the incorporation of acapstone design experience with an emphasis on iterative design, and the introduction of cutting-edgetechnologies including microarray analysis and tissue engineering into core lab courses.
